I was in the mood for something a little different, so I skipped going for the Freisinger RSR and instead picked 360 GTC. I thought I had pole locked up - with a 0.002s gap to Joco - but then he improved by a few tenths.
I thought he would slowly build a gap to me in the early laps. That didn't happen, it seemed like he was slipping and locking up occasionally. I caught him and we had a major battle for almost 20 laps. Around 5 passes back and forth, including 3 within the space of one lap. Joco's passes were rather brave latebrakings, and I figured instead of closing the door firmly I should take it easy so I gave enough room. When I passed him for the 3rd time, I got enough of a gap and then started edging away.
After my stop there weren't any major problems, I was just enjoying the track and pushing all the way. Sorry to Vladimir for the hit late in the race. I wasn't sure if you intended to let me past, and then my brakes just locked up...
