What a way to start the season. A Freaking DNF. I could run mid 47’s all day long with q set-up but couldn’t get close to a clean lap in with all the crashers. I think I managed a 48.6? Anyway, I was way back in the field. Got a good start and passed 2 cars and then came to the carnage at turn 1. Got hit plenty of times and then had a broken suspension. Tried to do another lap but the car was just terrible. Then I dove to the pits for repair but the car wouldn’t turn and I hit the barrier at pit entry. Damage un-repairable. Race over. Shit! Hope the next race is better, because surely it can’t get any worse!
