Hmmm,

Race was short! Steven just beat me to PT3000 pole. No problem as my q time was with the full 120L of fuel on board and still with plenty of room for improvement.

Race start was ok, taking it very easy in the opening turns. I closed the minor gap to Steven near the end of the lap, and got a great run on him coming out of the last turn. I could easily draft my way past Steven, but that's where the fun ended. Got hit form behind while braking for T1. No matter what I read here, the leading car has teh right to brake a bit early. I was on the inside line and with the brakes still being cold, I thought I'd better keep it safe...

No big deal, just a shame as I think I could have/should have won here. However, I can't believe what I'm reading here. It's like being blamed for the incident where I was clearly just a victim. Me hitting the brakes 10 ft early (compared to?) is exactly what I'm entitled to do being the leading car, especially after only 1 lap of a 1.2 hour race, with the brakes still not up to optimal operating temperatures. I know I got an apology from the driver and I won't have any hard feelings. But a punt is a punt, and you can't go around saying the other car was braking (too) early, and you didn't have ABS etc... if you couldn't react in time, you didn't leave enough room to anticipate what was coming.

Please take that into consideration to prevent such accidents from happening.
