Race report
ILMS: Mid Ohio on Nov 23, 2008
Car: Porsche RS Spyder. Class: LM-P2. Start: 2. Finish: 1. Laps: 103.

A really great event it was for sure, congrats to all that finished!!

My qual was great, just lost out on pole or just got enough for 2nd thats how close it was!

Start of the race went pretty solid, kept my 2nd place and was following Foley who was a little bid quicker then me!!
Since I was on a 2 stop strategy without any tire changes I was not pushing to hard and just focussed on keeping the gap close enough.

When Stephen pitted after 37 or 38 minutes I knew it would be very hard for him to make it on 2 stops, when I pitted and left I was right behind Stephen again. At that time I knew he didnt change his tires like me and was a bid worried that he could still make it with 1 stop left, however since I damaged the car a little bid I couldnt run as fast as him anymore (lost about 3-4tenths each lap)

But with about 50 minutes left he stopped for the 2nd time, now I knew he had to do a 3rd stop and started relaxing a bid. After my 2nd stop I was ready for the last part and focussed again on keeping the gap close enough, he stopped pretty early tho for his last pit and that's were I took the lead and kept it!!

Very happy to win this event, especially seeing so many strong guys outthere, appologies for any grieve I cost with lapping traffic (its so hard to pass in these cars!!)
