Developed by The Pits and Racesims Revolution together, the North American GT Championship features eight stunning cars such as would be found on track in a real-world championship like the Speed World Challenge GT series.

Race2Play is a member-supported community, with continued development of the service and vast selection of online racing events for all made possible by those in the community who choose supporting memberships.
The most notable change is that event signup priority for supporting members has been extended right up until the official start of practice on race day, providing these members greater versatility and options for joining races.
The existing free "Basic" membership has been relabeled "Guest" (and is still free), and a *new* Basic supporting membership level created for those who would like to benefit from event signup priority at the very least.

One of our own (Tommy Christian) has been working hard on updating the physics of default rFactor cars. A few months back he re-worked the Formula IS cars to resemble an IRL type car for our Indianapolis 500 race. He has expanded his work to the remaining open wheel cars found in rFactor with great success.
This will not overwrite anything or damage your current rFactor install! Comes with new rFm called OWChallenge08. This is similar to the stock OWChallenge2006 but with improvements. All cars point to stock 3D models and sounds included in rFactor 1255. Will NOT work with rFactor Lite without the add-on pack of stock graphics & sounds.

Race2Play is pleased to announce our annual special events. These events will mirror the high profile real-world racing events from around the world. From the famous Indianapolis 500 and Daytona 500 to mock endurance races simulating the 12 hours of Sebring and 24 hours of LeMans and Daytona. Even the V8 Supercars Bathurst 1000 race will be run in it's entire length. Run the full distance on your own or search out a fellow sim-racer local to you for real time driver changes in this extreme of all touring car events.
A special event will be scheduled in each calendar month of the year and will vary among all types of motorsports and racing types and may include cars and tracks not normally sanctioned within Race2Play. Sean Edwards to participate in Race2Play's 2008 Special Event: The 2.4 hours of Nordschleife on April 20th.
FIA European GT3 Champion, FIA GT2 driver and Porsche expert Sean Edwards has 10 years of International racing under his belt, from International karting, Formula Ford and Formula Renault to British GT, FIA GT3 and FIA GT, with a huge amount of success. He also instructs on a regular basis at the Silverstone Racing School and has done at Palmer Sports in the past.
Edwards has entered the race in a yet to be determined GT car and will have to contest against some of the greatest online racers at Race2Play. With nearly 50 drivers entered already, Sean will have his work cut out for him but we are confident that Edwards' vast professional motor sports experience will serve him well in such a difficult [... more]
Season 8 kicks off April 6th with yet another 300+ event season spread over 36 points paying series. Many of the series from S7 are making a return, some with minor tweaks. A few fresh ideas for racing are making their debut, such as Off Road racing!
New to Race2Play is a new series of events geared specifically towards attracting new sim-racers to our community. "Intro to sim racing" events will use the FREE Blimey software; BMW Challenge. Aides will be allowed and guidance to new sim-racers will be on hand to help people dive into our wonderful hobby. Both European and American schedules are planned.
We give Novice (aka Amateur) events another go, this time we turn it up to 11! Five new series, ranging from Formula Trainers to GT cars and even Formula 1 cars.
