This weekend I visisted the Spa 24 hours with my teamm8 Matej Ahacic. More photos will follow the coming week but the first one is the most intense.
During the warmup on saturdaymorning Steve Zacchia completely wrecked the polesitting Saleen #7 at the top of Eau Rouge.
What looked very scary in the beginning for the driver turned out oke as we later heared he had only some minor injuries.
What we saw looked much worse. And the car ... well, see for yourselve. No 24H-race for this car.
The Spa 24 hours 2008 was won by the Maserati #1.
Today I spend a great day at Spa again for the 1000 km of Spa of the Le Mans-series. Very pleased to see my fellowcountryman Jos Verstappen not only signing my cap but also win the race in the LMP2-class. Here are some pics.
Too soon Jeff Healey has left us. Cancer ended his life last sunday .... only 41 years old. A remarkable guitarist will be missed. RIP Jeff.

160 euros incl. the rails and the frame is a nice bargain. :-) The legrest is nice and long with a flexibel end. Think it will be great with enduranceraces giving my 6 ft 4. :-)

Sundaynight I was at the Amsterdam ArenA with 54.999 others to watch a Genesis-concert. Great performance by these guys. They still know what it takes to please an audience. A total of 2,5 hours playingtime and never a dull moment. Much better than last year with Simply Red. They left the stage after a lousy 1 hour and 20 minutes. Understand Genesis will go to the USA after July 14th. If you have the chance to visit .... DO IT. You won't regret it.
Smart move by T&T, the announcement they made about the membershipplans. And an expected one too. Running a website like this costs money and time spent on running it, so others can favor of it, also costs money. And maybe most important ... having a great idea/concept and making it a reality must be rewarded also. Only air costs nothing. So I don't have any problems with paying to race. I did that from the moment I signed up here. But please ... just call it like it is and don't start about not being Bill Gates and having families. Saying now is the time to really start to try making money with this great idea/concept would have gained my respect even more. I'll bet you've worked damn hard for it to make it come true. So I hope many members will sign up after a trialperiode and you two indeed become millioniars with it.
Yessss .... got the order confirmed today. Finally a new pc is on its way.
