25.6.1 - Marked Course

Marked Course
The "marked course" or "racing surface" is defined by the asphalt or concrete between the two painted lines. Anything outside those lines is considered off-course (this includes curbing). You are allowed to drive no more then two wheels off-course at any time.

Exceptions are made for accident avoidance and/or spin avoidance.

NOTE: As of September 2007, drivers are now able to use additional paved areas to the outside of the white lines (curbing, run-off, etc) without it being considered a "course cut". Keep in mind, you would still be considered "off track" and will have to follow the policy regarding rejoining the racing surface
