2009 Indianapolis 500 - Live broadcast

The month of May means "Indy 500" to motorsport fans the world over, and so it does at Race2Play: You can race in R2P's own 2009 Indianapolis 500 special event on May 23, to be broadcast worldwide live with commentary on R2P-TV! This race will go the full distance of 200 laps around the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway in formula open wheelers specially prepared to run wheel-to-wheel in the draft for 500 miles.
The 2009 Indy 500 is part of Race2Play's special events schedule, which mirrors high-profile events in the real world each month throughout the year. Previous events and R2P-TV broadcasts have included the Daytona 500K stock car race and 1.2 Hours of Sebring sports car race. In June Race2Play will run and broadcast its 2.4 Hours of Le Mans event.

Last year's running of the Indy 500 featured a stretch of more than 120 green-flag laps without a caution. Signups for the 2009 Indy 500 are already filling and the prerace discussion is humming ...
